General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Statement

With effect from 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulations (“GDPR”) will come into force. These will bring changes to the way any personal data of yours that we handle will be processed.

David Thatcher Recruitment acknowledges that every individual has a right to exercise control over how their personal data is processed and undertakes the following procedures to ensure we protect information in the following way:

  • By ensuring that any data processing is lawful, fair and transparent
  • By ensuring we are transparent about what the data is being used for
  • By destroying any data held by us when requested
  • By ensuring that any data collected is for a specific purpose and used for that purpose only
  • By ensuring any data is necessary for the purpose and is only used for that purpose without written authorisation from the candidate/client/employee to use elsewhere
  • By ensuring the data we process is accurate and kept up to date
  • By not keeping any data processed for longer than necessary
  • By ensuring the data is kept safe and secure.

David Thatcher Recruitment takes the security of any data it holds seriously. We have passwords in place. All members of our business receive GDPR training.
